Summer is here, and that means the music festival season is in full swing.
This year IMG Sports Technology Group will be there with the crowds as festival promoters, Fuzzy, use the TicketDesq online ticketing platform for the Shore Thing and Field Day events.
For the first time festival-goers will be able to select and purchase their tickets directly via their Facebook accounts, using our new fully integrated Facebook ticket purchasing functionality.
Fuzzy have a long history of organising some of the most popular festival shows in Australia, with Parklife now a multi city tour that unofficially kicks off the summer. IMG Sports Technology Group provide event ticketing and access control for many of Fuzzy's major events, including the upcoming Shore Thing, held on the most famous beach in the world, Bondi Beach, on New Years Eve.
"We used Ticketdesq for our Parklife 2011 tour. The white label system allowed the user interface to fit into our own event websites ensuring that we delivered the Fuzzy brand and service throughout the transaction process." Said Adelle Robinson, Director at Fuzzy.
"We have communicated with our customers directly throughout and post the purchase process including integrating surveys which have allowed us to track changing trends throughout the on sale period. We were very happy with the access control system on the front gates which proved easy to use for our staff and accurate even during the busy periods on ingress."
"Fuzzy are again using Ticketdesq for Shore Thing and Field Day over the New Year's period and are looking forward to another great experience."
IMG Sports Technology Group's ticketing system is built on the same ethos as our online membership and event registration systems; that your fans are your business and that no one else should be exploiting their data.
