Ticket Sales for Parklife supported by IMG STG TicketDesq

IMG STG’s ticketing division Ticketdesq recently completed a successful tour of the Parklife music festivals for promoter Fuzzy. Ticketdesq managed all online advanced ticket sales and the national call centre for telephone sales and enquiries for the concerts based in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide.

With the majority of tickets sold online, patrons received a confirmation email of their booking which also included a pdf e-ticket for printing at their convenience.

For the Perth, Sydney and Adelaide events, Ticketdesq also managed the event day access control for Fuzzy. These three concerts were held at green field sites so Ticketdesq management worked in conjunction with the promoter to scope the site plans for access control requirements, install the technical hardware on event day and provide 40 hand held barcode scanners for gate staff. Ticketdesq staff were on hand to assist with the smooth progress of patron entry with peak periods indicating 7,000 entries per hour. Close to 50,000 patrons attended all three concerts. The Sydney and Adelaide shows were held on consecutive days so there was no room for error..

Ticketdesq staff are now planning the logistics for the New Years Eve ‘Shorething’ concert at Bondi Beach and New Years Day ‘Field Day’ concert at The Domain.
